i just received my smartplane and the rudder only goes one way from mid point . it will go from midpoint to the right and right to midpoint but not to the left

i just received my smartplane and the rudder only goes one way from mid point . it will go from midpoint to the right and right to midpoint but not to the left

This can happen due to two reasons -

  1. Maybe the rudder got stuck - move it by hand (carefully!) to the left. It should then be OK.
  2. The "trim" option somehow got turned on without your knowledge. To check/fix this, press and hold the horizon till the settings/options show up. Then, turn OFF the "Trim" switch.
