UPDATE: A few minutes after doing a network reset it eventually started the firmware update.

I have this issue. The plane never responds to throttle and trys to upload firmware every time I load the app. Brand new never been flown. The propeller spins when I switch it on. I have let it charge for an hour. Sometimes while charging for a while it starts "resetting". The prop comes on for a split second and lights blink differently every few minutes.
I tried everything mentioned in the above post.
