The power slider on my screen is locked and I can not unlock it. Why did this happen and what si the cure for it?
Who cvan hel pme figure out how I can get the plane to start again i.e. the power slider to get unlocked

Just double tap the horizon and it will unlock!
You can lock and unlock by double tapping, it's a safety feature. Sorry it is not clear, we will update the app and add this instruction on the screen.

Never connects,,,,
Is it possible so few people have any trouble with the SmartPlane connecting with their iPhone? A search of the user community turns up but one question about connecting (i.e., never leaving the "searching" screen). Seems unlikely my plane is the only unit with such issues.

Hi!
You will not lose the plane. When it goes out of range, the propeller will stop and thus the plane will glide and land gently. You will have to go and find it to connect again, but it will not fly away too far out of range.

USB Charging port broke off on 1st charge.
While my son was going though the quick start he inserted the USB charge cable and it removed the charging port from the circuit board and now rendered the plane useless, I have tried to re-solder the thing back on to no avail.

Need Apk app file for Installation in Amazon Tablet
Can't find the apk app file in Amazon Store. My Tablet only accesses Amazon's App Store, can't get to Play Store. Need the Apk Smartplane app file for Android, then I can connect Tablet and install...HELP!! Email me the apk App file PLEASE !!

Updated iOS app released: v2.8
Hello SmartPlane owners!
We have released a new version 2.8 of the iOS app in the App Store. This update brings a long-awaited improvement: the "first flight preparation" time is cut down from 13 min to now only 2:30 min ! This also applies to future firmware updates. You no longer have to wait so long to fly your SmartPlane for the first time!
In addition, there's a new "shake-to-disconnect" feature, if you have multiple SmartPlanes and want to switch from flying one to the other, just shake your phone to disconnect one plane, and then touch the other plane to connect to it. Works like magic!
Finally, the app will now pop up a notification in the Notification Center when firmware upload (first flight prep) is completed and your SmartPlane is ready to fly. This is helpful in case you switched to another app, or turned off your phone screen.

On/Charge Off switch
The on/charge switch broke on my first plane. The company was very responsive and replaced it right away. The same switch broke after 2 times of use. I cannot recommend this product at all.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. We have identified an issue with the on/off switch on a small percentage of SmartPlanes sent to North America. We are currently offering unlimited refund or replacement for any SmartPlanes from the affected batch whose on/off switch breaks during normal use.

Unable to pair To Android Phone
I'm unable to pair this plane to my Android phone, I tired Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and One Plus One. App keeps on saying searching and when I try Bluetooth pair, it finds the plane but when I try pairing it, it says invalid pin....
