Rudder Problem
Just opened my new Smartplane. Began preflight checks and see that the rudder is only turning left. It tries to turn right, but does not fully move, if I tap with my finger it will move right but then is stuck there. Have not even had a chance to fly the plane!!!!

Went to download app and it says not compatatible with this iphone... I have a iphone 4.. Please help thanks

Unfortunately iPhone 4 does not have Bluetooth Smart. You need at least iPhone 4s or newer. Alternatively you can use an Android 4.3+ based phone with Bluetooth Smart.

Opened up the box, the USB port is bent and doesn't appear to be correctly assembled. Every time I open the app it downloads new firmware. Neither propeller or rudder work ?????

Had a very normal bump on the wall at a low slow speed and now the engine don't throttle at all.. All other functions work how do I solve this problem

Das Flugzeug macht richtig Spaß. Ich finde nur den Gashebel der App am unteren Rand etwas unhandlich. Das Phone würde besser in der Hand liegen wenn man den Daumen in der Mitte des Dislays hätte.

Rudder not working
Hi, just received my smartplane and the rudder control doesn't work. I am connected to the plane be ause i can change the propeler speed but when i move the iphone left or right, the rudder doesn't move. I have checked and nothing is blocking it. It moves freely.

That sounds like a broken rudder wire. Can you please get in touch with our customer support by emailing support@tobyrich.com? They will assist you with getting a refund or replacement.

How do I update the firmware for the plane?
Just wondering if there's any way (or any reason) to update the firmware on the plane. I noticed under the "indicator lights" description there was mention of firmware updating...
